CELTIC appointed official logistic supplier of the French Republican Army Orchestra in China
Monday, March 3, 2014

As part of celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the Franco-Chinese diplomatic relations, CELTIC was appointed to handle the logistic of the French Republican Army Orchestra both in Beijing and Shanghai.

On the 27th of January 1964, General Charles De Gaulle was the first leader from the West to recognize the People’s Republic of China which sealed the mutual friendship between China and France we celebrate today.  During all this year a lot of events will be organized to celebrate this anniversary and the various concerts in Beijing and Shanghai of the French Republican Army Orchestra was the starting point of the celebration.

Therefore CELTIC was appointed to handle the logistic of the instruments in Beijing and Shanghai that had to be delivered just on time so that the musicians could be ready for the concert. A special flight from the French army was arranged from Paris to transport all the instruments in Beijing which CELTIC took over from there and all the way to Shanghai with prestigious stops in Beijing national Museum and Shanghai’s Opera.

Established since 2006 in China, CELTIC was proud to participate in this first event to celebrate the friendship between France and China and we hope to be involved in more events to come in this year of the anniversary (for more details you can visit the website listing all the events).
