CELTIC GLOBAL SERVICES has been chosen a logistics services provider for the shipping and transport of pipes, cable parts and other equipment used for the renovation of the electricity network of Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. This important project confirms the firm’s strong presence on African markets. This project, which is financed by the World Bank, will help meet booming demand for energy in a country which undergoes a 6 to 7% annual GDP growth. Work has just got underway under the supervision of a large French electrical contracting firm and will take 22 months, providing jobs to up to 700 locally recruited personnel.
