Galeries Lafayette’s finest wines handled by CELTIC
Wednesday, November 6, 2013

In the wake of the collaboration between Duclot Group and Galeries Lafayette, both parties created the “Bordeauxtheque”. Established since 2010 in Paris, Boulevard Haussmann, it is nowadays the biggest cellar worldwide for Bordeaux wines, with more than 600 references like Petrus, Yquem, Lafite Rothschild, etc.

Since a few days only, thanks to CELTIC GLOBAL SERVICES and Groupe Legendre’s services, this concept has been imported in Beijing in the first of the numerous Galeries Lafayette’s stores in project in China. The team took over the precious cargo and took care of all steps up to the shelves in Beijing, ensuring a constant temperature of 15 degrees and optimal safety. This import is an unprecedented operation in the middle Kingdom since nobody dared to declare over 600 references of wine in a single time. CELTIC GLOBAL SERVICES and Groupe Legendre guided this project well beyond the transport and the logistic part, accompanying Bordeauxtheque at a documentary, administrative and customs level as well as designing and implementing a dedicated IT solution while printing and sticking back labels on these exceptional bottles.

Thanks to this first success and its exceptional commitment to quality, CCG intends to continue and develop its partnership with the Bordeauxtheque for its next local showrooms with its global logistic solution.
